Fast-drying towels I've used since 2021, a great swimsuit, and the best mosquito control (buckets!)

This one is short and sweet today; guests arrive in three hours, and there are a lot of last-minute things to do (aka, I’m in a cleaning frenzy!). I hope you have a week full of June things: soft light, an easy summer dinner, and maybe some soft serve ice cream, too.

A. A friend told me about the Grandma Moses A Good Day’s Work exhibition at the Smithsonian. I won’t make the show (in DC), but I did buy the catalogue.
B. Stephanie sent me this mini cloud notebook a while back, and this week I was looking for a mini notebook to store my endless to-do stickies, and this little guy was the perfect solution.
C. Pretty little stone bowls here and also here.
D. Summer is here; I gasped when I came across this electric blue outdoor lamp.
E. I first bought these lightweight, fast-drying towels in 2021 (and then bought two more sets in 2022), and they are still all going strong; highly recommend them!

F. My favorite swimsuit is now available in a cute checkered print! I’m short-waisted and busty (40E), with a tummy, and this suit manages to be comfortable and makes me feel good. While your mileage may vary, I truly recommend trying it. I take my larger size in the largest cup size for this one.
G. These star sandals have been in my closet for … a decade and are still going strong.
H. Wearing on repeat: Zara skirt (ack! just realized it is sold out!), but similar vibes here, Le Bon Shoppe top, Clare V bag (sold out) but available in other colors as a little extra bling I also added the pearl shorty strap, and my favorite hair pin for hot days.
I. My chicest, most organized boss used to carry one tote bag for her personal stuff and one for her work stuff. I have followed her lead in this (and many other things). For years, I’ve schlepped two of these LLBean camo totes - but for the summer, I’m yearning for a sleeker, lighter approach. These just might do the trick.
J. Last year, we made these mosquito buckets with these dunks, and I was shook by how effective they were.

I had an old landlord who used to joke that she was born under a schlepping sign. Same, girl, same. My love of these cream Ikea bags knows no limits; I ordered a new set this week. I always get compliments when I use them.

This LL Bean Bote and Tote-inspired Cooler caught my eye.

As did these square totes made from a similar Ikea bag material.

These hand-drawn gift tags and valentines by Melissa Gamwell are so charming.
