Announcement: Partner in Wine (and Spirits)

After many months of vacillation and much cajoling by friends, I’m happy to announce that I will be starting a weekly newsletter that explores my love for wines and spirts, with occasional digressions into other areas of interest: food, travel, politics, cricket, technology and popular culture, among others.

For long, I’ve felt that there’s a lack of smart, detailed and descriptive writing in India that helps demystify the world of liquor – wine, in particular – for enthusiasts. My weekly newsletter is a humble attempt to help make wines and spirits less intimidating and more enjoyable but in a responsible manner. Expect travel pieces with a sharp focus on wine, news about product launches and events, posts that’ll help you improve your home bar game, must-have wine accessories and glassware. I’ll also post conversations with industry experts (sommeliers, importers, distributors, winemakers, consultants, writers et all) who’ll help readers understand the business of winemaking.
