Ok so there is this concept known as the halo effect
Let me explain to u all what it basically means :
In layman language it basically means that , if we notice one positive quality of a person we tend to assume the person has many other positive qualities too, even without real evidence.
For example : if i meet someone for the first time and they seem to be confident in the way i talk with them, i will think that they are most likely smart or trustworthy
Basically we just look at one singular trait of an individual and judge them on that ONLY.
Let’s relate this now
When we meet someone for the first time, our brain quickly notices one small trait ( like i mentioned before ).Because of the halo effect , that one trait influences our overall perception of the person.
So WHY shouldn’t we judge a person only with limited interaction:
when we judge quickly, we may start treating people according to that particular trait which we have associated with them, which prevents us from seeing their real personality.
And people listen, each person on this planet earth has many many manyyyyy manyyyyyy different traits and characteristics within them. People behave to a particular situation differently even if they do not necessarily possess that particular characteristic.
So THINKKKKK WHAT I SAID before you judge anyone.
