We’re excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2026/27 AA2A residency schemes. This year, we have 18 confirmed hosts, with a 19th pending confirmation, offering close to 100 placement opportunities.
AA2A residencies are open to visual artists, designer-makers, and creatives working across a wide range of practices, including traditional, digital, contemporary, and emerging media.
Visit our Application Info page to explore the confirmed hosts and their application packs, which include key details about each scheme and available facilities. Some host packs are still being finalised and will be added soon. We expect to have all packs in by mid-August.
If you are interested in a host whose pack is not yet available, you can complete the form on the Application Info page, and we will notify you when the information is ready.
The earliest application deadline is 31 August, with most schemes closing in early to mid-September.
