IfNotNow and Jewish Voice for Peace assemble at the Capitol building calling for a ceasefire with the Israeli/Palestinian war.

Capitol Police officer -”Hello and welcome to the Cannon House. How may I help you?

Protestor -"We're here to ask President Biden and Congress for a ceasefire in Israel.”

Officer"You can't protest here! This is a US Capitol building!"

Protestor "We're here to exercise our first amendment rights! We want out voices heard! Innocent people are dying - women and children!”

Officer- “Well you can't do it here. It's illegal. If you don't leave immediately you're going to be arrested!”

Protestor- "But what about my constitutional rights to peaceably assemble for redress of grievances?”

Officer -”Are you an attorney?”

Protestor -”Well no….”

Officer- “Well what do you know about the constitution? Look, I'm trying to be nice to you and give you a break and your just arguing with me and causing a disturbance. Your just causing trouble. All these commie banners and prayers.”

Protestor- "This is the Capitol office building. Where else can we make our government hear us?"

Officer- "Not here. This is now part of the Smithsonian museum.”

Protestor- "The Smithsonian?..."

Officer- "Yeah, don't you know the Patriot Act made this a part of the Smithsonian- to preserve the history of the place. We're protecting freedom and keeping you all safe from terrorism and it's obvious you don't appreciate it!”

Protestor - "But this is where Congress meets to pass bills."

Officer -"Not anymore - those are just reenactments , you know like civil war reenactments so people can see what it was like back then. Smell of gunpowder and lots of blood and screaming. Now they show up once in a while and put on a good show. And they get a bonus for acting. “

Protestor - "Reenactments? You mean Congress doesn't meet here anymore? Where does Congress meet?”

Officer - " I'm not sure - I think this week it's at Lockheed Martin or Raytheon. Discussing the new budget, you know. By the way, where's your ticket?"

Protestor -" My ticket.....?"

Officer -"Your admission ticket for the museum!"

Protestor -"I didn't know I needed one....."

Officer -"Of course you need one you idiot! It's a simple 20 page application with a 2 year background check to make sure you aren't a terrorist with a nominal $1099 admission fee and a modest $2000 application fee. Make sure you have 3 forms of valid picture IDs with a full genealogical record back 10 generations, a criminal background check from the FBI , a credit report and inventory of all your possessions."

Protestor -"What......?

Officer -"You're obviously anti-Semitic protesting Israel's right to defend themselves... Your giving me indications for being a terrorist! Acting suspicious. Not following the proper procedure.”

Protestor -"But I'm Jewish..."

Officer -"Which makes you a treasonous traitor AND a terrorist to the State of Israel and America by supporting Hamas. I'm placing you under arrest for terroristic threatening, trespassing, illegal entry, resisting arrest, bigotry, failure to comply with a law enforcement officer just for starters!"

Protestor -"I want a lawyer....."

Officer -"Your a terrorist - you don't get a lawyer. You're all on your way to Guantanamo for interrogation. Your a danger to American society! Put your hands behind your back! Don't move!!! TASER TASER TASER! Call the riot squad! Call the National Guard !"

Protestor- "Aghhhhhh!"

Officer -"Hit him again he's still twitching! My Taser is recharging!"

Officer 2- "I got him!"

Officer -"These lying Hamas terrorists sympathizers! Lock them all up! Keep Americans safe! Thank God for the Patriot Act! Ceasefire and peace my ass!"

Screaming, terrified protestors trying to exit the building run into the riot squad and teargas and directed energy weapons incapacitating them. 500 are arrested immediately with 9000 more awaiting arrest from facial recognition software. Justice awaits them.
