Saturday afternoon, 901 Wrestling returns to Growler’s for an afternoon of professional wrestling action as only Memphis can deliver, including a “monstrous” main event that promises to be hard hitting.
On his way to challenge 901 Wrestling Champion The Merc Chris Evans at Hyped Up on June 14th at Minglewood Hall, Ken Dang is looking to keep his skills sharp with an All American challenge. However, every match becomes a risk to Dang’s contendership. Who will step in to challenge the #1 Contender on his way to become a three time 901 Wrestling champion?
Brayden Toon has been vocal in the locker room about his displeasure at the actions of a former 901 Wrestling talent, M.J. Davis, who keeps finding ways to disrupt the show, with that talent’s main target being Toon’s protege, DRP. Toon has “dared” this person to show up when Toon’s in action Saturday at Growler’s.
After holding the camera for the attack on Don Montana before Saturday Morning Live, ( Watch here ) Prince Adonis comes to Growler’s for his own “tune up” match, as he prepares for upcoming challenges. With locker room rumors spreading of a “generational” talent eyeing the city’s title, who will be Adonis’s opponent this Saturday?
In the main event, it’ll be an old fashioned “hoss fight” as "The Memphis Made Monster” Walker XIII faces “The Human Juggernaut” Bishop Kage. With bad blood stemming from Spring Fever’s elimination match, available on YouTube for members, these behemoth’s are itching for a fight. Can Growler’s contain the incoming violence of the two big men?
