Carnival Updates at WDW section

Start of the Tiki room Parrots are being painted for the Tiki Room Fire station and haunted house. Behind them will be the entrance to the Pirate of the Caribbean attraction. There will be a cave grotto here eventually. The Jungle Cruise is coming along too on the left 7sq feet were added in total, the Country Bear Jamboree like building is on order from Gold Rush Bay to fill a part of the area…

Disney World Update for May Day

Some pictures showing the development of the Rail Roads WDW section: Crystal Palace, Main Street Station, Haunted Mansion and the newly painted Steam train the Roy O. Disney. The 3D printed fire hall and 3D printed Lilly Belle paddle wheeler have arrived and will be cleaned up and painted over the summer. Update for Apr 16: Given the cold -20's C outside, decided to spend some quality time indoors and get the lighting of the fair grounds underway. The beer garden: Break dance ride: LED wire installed on the Swinger ride and the Mad Tea Cup ride lit up. Next on the plan is the carocelle that is currently sitting dark. Purchased a vintage kit from a local hobby shop. Changed the colors. Added LED EL-wire beginning of the Funfair

As Charles Dickens is my favorite author, I decided to make the The Old Curiosity Shop for the layout. More to come as lighting and interior details to be added. All of the parts were from recycled buildings. Google Earth helps a lot with details of the building

BATES Motel Construction update

Ever since doing the Bates house with Norman, we have been on the lookout for a motel that would fit the time period and resemble the old motor lodges seen along California highways in the 50's. Skaro Theatre is now open !

Skaro theater in reverse timeline. Surrounding landscape done. Night time testing, brightness of the LED needed to be dimmed a bit to fit into the surrounding buildings. Added plain printer paper as a diffuser. Testing the ELwire used on the marquis, great product from LED Montreal.

Expansion of the rural town

The rural town development is starting to get traction. As a result of several new laser cut buildings of the time period, 1930-1970, I needed more of an urban plan. Part of this requires removing about 4ft of hill side that has been in place for about 4yrs.
