Grace Kim · 82 Startup

Hello 82 Startup Community! This week, we have 5 founder pitches, 4 new roles, and 2 networking events. As always, if you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to Grace Kim (grace@sazze.vc).

1. HISTRANGER, Inc. | DongKook Kim | dk@hi-str.com | Pre-A

Hi-Stranger is a Seoul-based AI company developing InsightFlow, a multimodal Emotion AI platform that simultaneously analyzes four biosignals — EEG (brainwaves), PPG (heart rate), FER (facial expression), and Gaze (eye tracking) — to quantify how audiences emotionally respond to video content in real time. The platform enables content creators, game developers, advertisers, and OTT platforms to make data-driven decisions, replacing costly and subjective traditional testing methods. You can view their full IR deck here and here.

2. Moment Manager | Young Hah | hah.young@gmail.com | Pre-Seed/Seed

Moment Manager strengthens human decision-making under pressure rather than replacing it. Our AI captures key turning points after each bout, revealing patterns like composure breakdown and decision speed to train intentional decisions. Built for AI–human alignment, it reflects human judgment—helping athletes understand themselves while helping AI understand human decision-making. Founded by Young Hah, a learning science and metacognition specialist from Columbia University, we’re onboarding a founding cohort of alpha testers, including Columbia fencers, to capture structured decision data.

3. Chance AI | Elizabeth Shim | liz@globalasianculture.com | Pre-Seed/Seed

Chance AI is a precision networking platform designed to transform how people meet at events. Instead of leaving meaningful connections to chance, the platform uses structured compatibility signals and AI-assisted matching to introduce attendees who are likely to benefit from meeting each other. The product addresses a common pain point in conferences and professional gatherings: most attendees meet only a fraction of the people they would genuinely value connecting with. Chance has already demonstrated early traction through live event pilots. Using a structured compatibility quiz and manual-plus-AI matching process, the platform has successfully matched nearly 100 participants across multiple networking events. Early users report higher-quality conversations and more intentional networking compared with traditional open networking formats.

4. Branvine | Josh Cho | josh@branvine.com | Seed

Branvine is building the “Apple Health” for pets—an integrated ecosystem that unifies nutrition, behavior, biomarkers, and daily health data into a single platform. Unlike human healthcare, the pet market currently lacks a dominant, all-in-one health management tool, leaving supplements, vet visits, and home monitoring fragmented. The company is preparing to launch a comprehensive pet health mobile app by July 2026. The app is designed to allow owners to log daily health data and upload vet or home-test results, while an AI engine provides calorie recommendations, health scores, actionable insights, and detailed periodic summaries. You can view their full IR deck here.

5. Aurris AI | Emily | emily@aurris.ai | Pre-Seed

Aurris AI is an AI platform built for the medical aesthetics ecosystem to optimize the patient funnel and improve lead conversion rates. To address the high drop-out rate of patients before treatment, the platform offers an end-to-end solution featuring an always-on AI agent, generative AI consultation tools, predictive targeting, and easy-to-acquire financing. By connecting brand manufacturers, medical practices, and patient financing partners, the technology aims to increase the efficiency of marketing spend and streamline practice operations. Aurris AI monetizes this ecosystem through enterprise and practice subscriptions as well as financing referral fees, having already demonstrated a 4x increase in patient lead conversions during its initial pilot study. Full IR is available here.
