A new hat. A better fit. For me. And for you.

As some of you know, the “real estate hat” I tried on after selling my pest control business wasn’t quite the right shape for me. Between the long cycles and the post-hurricane slowdown, I knew I needed to get back to what I do best. Something real. Something visible.

I wish it hadn’t taken this long. But it did. I searched everywhere. High and low. Near and far.

Just when I thought I’d have to rummage through my old hats, I glimpsed an intriguing one.

This one was different. New logo. New style. Would it fit? Would I like it?

The thing is, I wanted it to fit. Or, fit into it. So, I went for it.

Okay, enough with the tortured metaphor. The hat is a job—and I finally found the right fit with the Concrete Driveway Co.

I’m the new Outside Sales Manager for the Asheville area. I’ve only been at it a couple of weeks, but it feels good to be back in the field, meeting you at your homes and helping you solve problems.

I’m also enjoying the new challenges—like learning just how many variables go into a “simple” patio slab. It’s stretching my mental muscles in a way that’s actually satisfying.
