We used Uzbekistan, but if we refer to the Wikipedia list, we can see that actually Kuwait is closer. But countries that end with -stan standout a bit more. This was reported by The Associated Press originally.
What is even more wild is that the baseline to surpass this tax threshold is...241MM. This puts the _threshold_ to get taxed at the GDP of Qatar. One of the highest of the Gulf Coast. This is a country rich with oil, who’s entire GDP is less than the tax applied to the dodgers.
Actually wait, I realized that I was reading the Wikipedia page incorrectly. It is listed in billions there…
