🐾 Fosters Needed: A Few Pups Who Need Us Right Now

Shelters across our region are overwhelmed, and we’ve been working hard to help dogs who have nowhere else to turn. In recent weeks, we’ve pulled dogs who were red listed for euthanasia and others from shelters in the Imperial Valley, where temperatures have topped 110 degrees.

Every dog we save needs a foster home before we can say yes. We are so grateful for this incredible community and all of the support you continue to give these deserving pups.

Here are just a few dogs who really need a foster right now:

❤️ Archie

3 years old • 63 lbs • Shepherd mix

Archie was adopted from Second Chance as a puppy but recently ended up at the Humane Society, where his owner never came to reclaim him. He’s coming back to us and desperately needs a soft place to land while we find him a new forever home.

🐾 Johnny

Under one year old • 35 lbs • Retriever/Basset mix

Johnny is a sweet, sensitive puppy who is still learning that the world is a safe place. He needs a patient foster who can help him build confidence, learn the basics and experience life outside of a shelter.

🌸 Lottie

2 years • 22 lbs • Chihuahua/Shar Pei mix

Lottie was rescued from a high-kill shelter and is a gentle, timid girl who needs time to decompress. A quiet home, ideally with a secure yard and possibly a confident dog companion, would give her the chance to relax and begin to blossom.

Tiny Loki is 16 years old and just 4 pounds, but this little senior has already stolen our hearts.

Loki needs significant dental care, and we’re raising funds to help cover the cost. Dental disease can be painful, especially for a senior dog, and we want Loki to spend his golden years feeling comfortable, healthy and loved.
