Let's head to Europe in July!
Share knowledge, exchange impressions and make valuable new connections. That's what we do by attending events, from the more technical to the more networking-oriented.
In the last few weeks, 20tab started participating in the events that are most important to us, that we sponsor, and that we are most passionate about. We could only start with PyCon Italia.
20tab was born as a software company founded by Pythonists, and it's hard for us to remember when we started attending the main Italian conference dedicated to the language we always used.
But this year, for the first time, we met all the attendees at our booth: there were a lot of people who decided to stop by and chat, discuss the current technological landscape, learn more about our latest product, Seedz. [Spoiler: we'll be introducing it here soon, too!]
And then they took the stage: Raffaele Colace, our Head of Operations, to talk to a packed room about testing and quality software. And Paolo Melchiorre, CTO of 20tab and part of the event's organizing committee, wanted to encourage young developers to join the communities and contribute actively.
Once again this year we returned from Florence with lots of hugs, smiles, new tools and solutions to experiment with and apply every day. 🟣Here our conference recap.
For the first time, we will be present at WMF - We Make Future 2024, International Fair and Festival of Innovation, not only as a participant but also with a desk where we will welcome curious people, companies and startups: you will find us inside the NETVAL - Italian Network for Research Valorisation & Knowledge Share booth, of which we are technology partner.
Together with NETVAL, we have developed 🟢Knowledge Share, the biggest Matchmaking Platform for Deeptech Innovation which supports and enables the valorization of research results generated by universities, Research Hospitals and PROs at a National level. In particular, we supported NETVAL in listening to their users, to take into account their needs and desires, and then to intervene in the portal with a modernization of the technology stack and an improved UX.
To celebrate WMF, we created a special quiz*: 10 questions to assess how well your digital product is aligned with your users' needs and how effectively it meets their expectations.
It is already available, in preview, for Disclosure members: we will launch it in a few days on our official pages, and then it will be possible to play it directly at the fair.
Answer the questions, find out how user-centric your product is, and then come pick up your gagdet at our booth at WMF.
*Product Quest is an Italian language quiz.
After PyCon Italia and WMF, in July we will be in Prague for 🔵EuroPython 2024: this year we are sponsoring the 23rd edition of the longest-running conference on Python, organized and run by volunteers.
We will be there to meet international colleagues, bring back new knowledge and share our experience: in fact, our CTO Paolo Melchiorre will take the stage.

The Product Management Day CFP closed in the last few weeks.
We are in the process of selecting the content that will fill the two tracks of the conference: soon all applicants will receive an email with the result, whether positive or negative. And then we will start announcing the 2024 lineup.
