Hello From the CEO’s Desk

Hello, friends.

I suppose the best way to begin a space called From the CEO’s Desk is simply to say hello.

This is where you’ll hear from me.

I’m still settling into this new role, and there is a lot happening at Project Milk Carton right now. There are things I’m excited about, things I want us to accomplish, and plenty I’m looking forward to sharing with you.

For those of you who have known me outside of Project Milk Carton, you already know I have always been a call-to-action girl.

I love taking big ideas and making them practical.

I love helping people see where they can step in and make a difference in a way that feels natural to them.

As well, I love hearing from you. I want to know what breaks your heart, but I also want to know what gives you hope and what brings you joy. Tell me how we can better answer your questions, bring you tangible and usable information, and inspire you to make a difference for a child.

I especially love making the work feel like an easy lift for all of us.

Helping should never feel overwhelming. That’s my biggest job here at Project Milk Carton. To make this work relatable. To hand you opportunity to use the resources God has given each one of you who has a desire to help lift the load off of vulnerable kiddos and help them know the are loved, valued and wanted just because they exist.

We do that by being better adults. By pursuing avenues of change that make their lives easier.

That is the heart of what I hope to bring to this space.

I want to talk with you about the work we are doing, the things I am learning along the way, and the places where you may find something that speaks to you personally.

We won’t take down every article already written, but my commitment to you from here on out is that we will have a call to action in every article we write. we won’t just be another newsroom. We will always connect you to the work.

I am excited about where Project Milk Carton is going, and I am very glad you are here for it.
